It’s that time of the year, of fun, frolic, food and grandeur. Buckle up your seats Delhites as the season of fall unfolds. The commencement of winter season in Delhi, brings along so much with itself, things ranging from food, music, heritage, shopping, various kinds of fests, concerts, and what not! Here’s, a list of all the oncoming events in the city, in chronological order, which will certainly leave you invigorated.

1. Dilli ki Diwali (26th - 29th Oct 2019) 

Pollution is on its peak and crackers and fireworks deteriorate the condition of air much more. Hence, for the first time in Delhi, there is going to be a light, sound, laser show. It has been organised by Delhi government in order to curb the raging pollution levels in the city. Come in your festive best clothes and witness a Diwali Bina Patakhe wali. Lets avoid burning crackers and this season lets celebrate a high- tech and a eco- friendly Diwali.

2. Jashn-e- Virasat-e- Urdu : Urdu Heritage Festival (30thOct- 4th Nov 19)

Theres a good news for people having an inclination for Indian Classical music.  Delhi Government's Department of Art, Culture, and Languages is going to organise a event called Jashn-e-Virasat, the Urdu Heritage Festival. The event  will be in collaboration with with the Urdu Academy Delhi. The attendees are some very prominent artists. There are going to be various cultural programmes of Poetry,  classical music, as well as story -telling.

3.Sahitya Aaj Tak: India's Biggest Literature Fest (1st - 3rd Nov 19 )

Sahitya Aaj Tak is considered, Indias Biggest Literature Fest. There is free entry for the event, however, one is required to register from online site. It will be confluence of poetry, prose, music and drama. The effort of this kind of an event, is to bring people from diverse backgrounds and make them have a eloquent dialogues on a variety of issues. Indias renowned personalities from writers, scholars, authors, musicians, actors, columnists, business leaders, poets and theatre artists are going to be itss attendees. Its a must visit for aspiringartists, story-tellers, anchors, author, reporters.

4. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike @ Sunburn Arena (9th Nov 19)

Fan of EDM? Heres a chance for you to attend the popular DJs Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. The duo are going to perform in the city. Prepare yourself to dance on their groovy beats. The performanceis at the Sunburn Arena in Delhi.

5. Jashn-e-Rekhta (13th - 15th Dec 19 )

The language Urdu has somewhat lost its charm in todays time. Thisfestival celebrates Urdu to its glory.  Jashn-e-Rekhta is anamalgamation of different kinds of cultural, literature and heritage programmes. Its the fifth edition which brings forth, itcolourful nuances through Ghazals, Sufi, Qawwali, Dastaangoi, Panel Discussions, Poetry Symposiums, Recitations, Celebrity Conversations, Book exhibition, Calligraphy, Artefacts, Food court and a lot more. Eminent personalities from myriads of fields, like music, art, literature, are going to grace the event.

6. India Art Festival (14th - 17th Nov 19)

Its  a platform for a discourse and collaborations between art galleries, art dealers, art buyers, artists, interior designer, architects and art connoisseurs who come together every year under roof. Various exhibitors are going to display their work of art.IAF also, serves opportunity for  amateur, budding artist, to sell as well as to showcase their craft and get recognised for the same.

7.Horn OK Please (15th - 17th Nov19)

8. Qutub Festival (15th - 19th Nov19) 

 
The Qutub Festival, held in the premises of the historical structure, Qutub Minar. It  is a festival to celebrate the opulent and magnificence of the Minar. The three day event, showcases the rich grandeur of India  and its cultural accomplishments in the various forms of dance and music. The Qutub Festival is organized jointly by the Delhi Tourism and 
Transport Development Corporation and the Sahitya Kala Parishad.
Ghazals, Qawwalis, sitar and sarangi performances and impressiveclassical dance performances are the key highlights of the event.

9. India International Trade Fair (14th - 27th Nov 19) 

This annual fair is also known as multi product fair. It is one of the largest trade fairs in the world both in terms of exhibitors and visitors participation and has evolved its unique  character as an iconic International event. It comprises of a large number of exhibitors as well as the visitors count is very high too.

10. Boho Bazaar (21st - 22nd Dec 19 )

11. Prateek Kuhad Performing(22nd Dec 19)
